The Groomi can be used on any type of animal that regenerates or sheds their coat. We have customers in all shapes and sizes from Horses, Dogs, Cats, Rabbits and even a goat! 

We also have a number of customers that use Groomi on their "non shedding " dogs. All dogs shed their coats the severity is what changes between breeds.

On curly coats that shed very little the Groomi will still remove the dead hair and dirt giving the same benefits of those of coats that shed lots! By removing the hair the coat can breath, oils will come to the surface and it will help with irritability and itching. 

Here at Groomi we have developed a comb that has teeth which are placed wide apart and shallow with no cutting edge so as not to cut, drag or break the hair! The Groomi comb is unique and cannot be found on any other type of grooming product! (We have even protected it so it can't be copied)!

The Groomi has been carefully designed to require minimal pressure and the gentle comb doesn't cut fur. Due to this you can brush your pet multiple times a week and even daily in peak shedding season without a problem!

As with any grooming tool they can wear down and become less effective - The Groomi is designed so that the combs can be replaced and a new one inserted! This way they don't end up in landfill! 

Fear not, you won't need any tools to replace your combs. All you need is the end of the new comb which fits perfectly into the quick release screw, then replace the comb and do it up again using the end of the new screw! 

Yes, the Groomi handle is made from partly recycled plastic - the combs are stainless steel and the packaging is made from cardboard. So you can recycle! We also offer to recycle for you, just send us your used combs and we will do all the work for you!
